A little about me:

As a wounded healer who is an apprentice to chronic illness, neurodivergence, and complex trauma, I have found that it is rarely suffering itself that wounds and scars us, but rather the fact that we often suffer alone. My deepest desire as a therapist and human is to lessen and undo some of the aloneness that my clients have experienced throughout their lives.

I especially enjoy supporting my fellow spoonies (those living with chronic illness) and those with neurodivergence. Both of these identities have a way of creating a need for chronic masking in order to cope and survive with the stressful demands of living in a capitalistic, able-bodied corner of the world. This can become unbearably exhausting and is likely diverting energy from other, more joyful and fulfilling parts of life. If I’m describing you, I see you and you’re not alone.

Our work together can gently explore these patterns of masking and find ways to reclaim your energy for your own. Whether or not you have limited spoons (energy) due to chronic masking, you deserve to protect and prioritize what matters most to you in life.

Some of the things that matter most to me in life are fostering my friendships, reading and writing, taking care of my (mostly alive) plant babies, and engaging in daily somatic practices. When my body and the weather allow me to, I enjoy slow, turtle walks during the day and lots of stargazing at night. Whether or not I’m in therapist mode, I believe laughter has a way of reaching and healing places within us that words alone can’t touch.
